SERVICES / DEEDS / Deed of declarations
Place a statement on formal record before a registered Spanish notary, with a certain date and full validity. No travel and, with an apostille, valid for use outside Spain too.
In a deed of declarations the notary records what you state and certifies that you said it, when, and who you are. Common uses:
Valid Spanish DNI or NIE. We cannot serve clients without a Spanish ID document.
If you don't have one, we help you get a temporary one via video identification on the Portal Notarial del Ciudadano before the appointment.
What you wish to declare and, if any, supporting documents.
If the deed will be presented in another country, it needs the Hague Apostille to be recognised. We handle the whole process and deliver the document ready to present.
So the document is recognised in countries party to the Convention. We arrange it, no travel required.
Optional service: the document is drafted in two columns (Spanish and English) so you can present it directly in the destination country.
The notary certifies that you made the statement, on that date, with your identity verified. It does not prove the statement is true, but gives it a certain date and authentic record, enough for most procedures that require it.
A sworn statement is a private document you sign. A deed of declarations is a public document: a notary verifies your identity and certifies the statement, so it carries greater evidentiary weight.
Any adult with full legal capacity and a valid Spanish DNI or NIE. A company may also grant it through its representative.
Yes. If your statement relies on documents (contracts, certificates, photographs), they can be incorporated into the deed.
Adults holding a valid Spanish DNI or NIE and a digital certificate. We cannot serve clients without a Spanish ID document. Each procedure allows a maximum of 3 signatories.
Yes, it's required to sign. If you don't have one, you can obtain a temporary certificate for the signing on the Portal Notarial del Ciudadano itself, via video identification before the video call. We help and guide you through it.
Within 24 hours of receiving your documentation and payment we confirm the day and time of your appointment; the video call takes place on the agreed date. The electronic document is normally delivered within 24 hours of signing.
Electronically, with a Secure Verification Code (CSV) and full legal validity. You can download it, print it and present it wherever you need.
No. Tu Notaría Online is an advisory and case-management service for notarial procedures: we guide you, prepare the documentation and coordinate the signing. The document is always authorised by a notary registered in Spain, who is the one giving public faith, by video call through the Portal Notarial del Ciudadano (Law 11/2023).
